Gift Guide: Faith Based

Gift Guide: Faith Based

By Kate

As the first of two Christmas gift guides, this list is dedicated to items that encourage your walk with the Lord and help you stay in the Word! Perhaps you have a friend in your Bible study or small group that could use one of these items or a neighbor that needs some encouragement…even an idea for yourself!  I love how uplifting these gifts are and how they help point our gaze toward scripture. A special note about this list, it is primarily a collection of small businesses, fellow creatives and makers who are incredibly supported when you purchase from them!

Faith Based Gift Guide

Experiences. Consider sharing an experience rather than an item for Christmas! Hillsong on Tour, Lauren Daigle Concert, Lifeway Women Live, Narrow Conference, The Gospel Coalition Women’s Event. Or a special event at your local church!
Bibles. She Reads Truth Bible, ESV from Hosanna Revival, Study Bible Hosanna Revival, Illuminated Journaling Bible.
Journals. Gratitude Journal, Paper Peony Press Prayer Journal, Word Before World, Val Marie Prayer Journal.
Heirlooms. Book of Provenance, Our Family Hymns, Gather Gift Box.
Advent Calendars. Advent Calendars are a daily or weekly way to help keep the focus on Christ leading up to Christmas. This would really be an “early” Christmas gift but one that is enjoyed all month long! Here are a few different styles, including one that is family focused. Wooden Star Calendar, Names of Jesus, Advent Cards.
Scripture Based Art. Having scripture visible throughout your home can help direct your thoughts toward the Word throughout the day. This can be as simple as writing a verse on a card and keeping in on your counter or by your entryway. Or you could incorporate scripture based art in your home! Here are beautiful small businesses that create art highlighting verses: Kristin Duran Designs, Graced Laced, Great Grace United, Hosanna Revival, True Cotton and The Daily Grace Co. You could also consider creating a piece of art yourself as a beautiful, handmade item!
Jewelry. Wearing meaningful items that remind you of scripture is another way to focus your heart and mind during the day. The Everyday Heirloom company is a husband and wife creative team that makes beautiful pieces of art from rings to necklaces and earrings.  As these are handcrafted, there might not be enough time to order for Christmas, but it is worth it to get the gift a little after!
Books. Personally, books are one of my favorite items to receive! These are a few I read this year and some new ones that look wonderful: she works His way, Risen Motherhood, Commoner’s Communion Prayer Vol I, Beholding and Becoming, Celebrating Biblical Feasts
Magazine Subscriptions. Magazines are a blessing all year round, help provide an activity unrelated to screen time and give perspective on life without needing to commit to a whole book! Some of my favorites are: Be Still, Grace Laced Quarterly, Bible Study Magazine, Set Apart. I have to include our House of Inverness Seasonal Journal here! Free to subscribers, it comes out once per season and is filled with encouraging, uplifting content!
Scripture Cards. Promises of God, Worship Trumps Worry, Scripture Cards
Extras! Isaiah 40:8 Puzzle, Bible Study Highlighter Set, Tea Towel
